Day 19 of 21 Days of Prayer

Nov 28, 2025    AJ Frasure

Today we’re learning to pray like Paul for others. In Ephesians 1:16 (ESV), Paul says, “I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.” Almost every letter he wrote starts this same way — with gratitude and prayer for others.

Paul prayed selflessly, focusing on others more than himself. He prayed consistently, saying things like “without ceasing” and “day and night.” He prayed with thankfulness, even for people who were difficult, because thankfulness destroys bitterness. He prayed expectantly, knowing God wasn’t finished working in their lives. And he prayed for spiritual things— that they would know God deeply, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and walk in holiness.

So today, follow Paul’s example. Think of someone you can pray for. Thank God for them, pray consistently, expect God to do amazing things through them, and keep your focus on what matters most.
