Day 1 of 21 Days of Prayer

God answers prayer. We often pray without a real foundational understanding of how or why he answers or doesn’t. This month we will be talking about what the Bible says are some of the keys to answered prayers. Today we remember that we are God’s children and that He is our Father. We are called to come to him in prayer as a child approaches a loving Father. Do you have a relationship with God as your father? If not, today is the day to start that relationship! Start today by praying “God I admit that I have sinned. I know that my sin is rebellion against you and what you want for my life. I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus came from heaven to earth and willingly died to take the punishment for my sins. I believe He rose from the dead and I’m asking him to forgive me for my sins. Jesus, save me. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me a new person. I want to follow you the rest of my life.”
